The National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), a national, non-profit organization, re-certified IROW (Industrial Recyclers of Wisconsin) for the sixth year in a row. IROW is the only area business in North Central Wisconsin with this prestigious certification. NAID establishes minimum standards for employee hiring and screening, operations, the destruction process, and insurance as well as other security factors.

While NAID sets the criteria for the certification, an impartial, independent security professional conducts the audit and reviews the 14-page detailed application, containing the following details: policy and procedure manuals, employment records, promotional materials, logs and paperwork to verify that they meet certification requirements, facility security monitoring systems, destruction equipment and access to control systems.
