The Central Wisconsin IROW Recyclable Art
2012 Scholarship Competition

Are you ready for "Thinking Outside the Bin?"

All high school juniors and seniors in Marathon, Portage, Wood, Taylor and Lincoln counties can register to enter the fourth annual IROW Recyclable Art Scholarship Competition. The best art projects using recyclable materials will qualify for these prizes:

• First Place (Two Awards) *$500
• Second Place $300
• Third Place $150
• Plus Honorable Mentions $75 each
• People’s Choice Awards $75

*Note: One first place award for best paper/cardboard only project and one first place award for other recyclable material.

Use empty aluminum cans, discarded cardboard, broken glass and other recyclable materials and turn them into creative works of art. Every project will be on display at the Wausau Center Mall April 20-22, 2012 for thousands of mall visitors to enjoy. The theme for the 2012 contest is “Thinking Outside the Bin.”
 
A panel of independent judges representing area schools and colleges as well as the Woodson Art Museum will evaluate each entry.
